1. Gentle pressure is applied to the back of the neck, stimulating a relaxation response similar to when a mother carries a puppy by the scruff of its neck.
2. Gentle pressure is applied around the muzzle through the nose loop, providing reassuring control and communication.
3. It functions like a halter rope, guiding the dog's movement by leading the nose, and the body naturally follows.
